 Our Story

Candid Gifts began out of the owner’s, Melissa Tutterow, passion for finding the perfect gift for every occasion. Opening in 2006, as a gift basket company, our focus was helping busy professionals strengthen relationships through gifts.

In November of 2008, Candid Gift’s, expanded it’s operations to include a boutique in Historic Downtown Belleville IL. In it’s new location, Candid Gifts offers a wide variety of unique and modern items.

At Candid Gifts we believe that every person is unique and we strive to represent your personality and relationship with every gift we send out the door. Melissa

Melissa is the official head gifter.  Allow her years of gifting experience to guide you through selecting the perfect gift personally or professional. 

She is a wealth of knowedge on gift ettique, color trends, and seasonal trends

Her current Favorite gift is the Fairy Davis Pins. 

 

Sam   

Sam is a recent high school graduate that will attend college soon.  Stop in to see Sam for a fresh prospective on gift giving.  She will create a gorgeous basket while you wait and top it off with a beautiful handmade bow.

Her new moto favorite moto for the store is, “There are  no strangers here, only friends we haven’t met.”
