Christy decided to go into the blanket making business after the birth of her two children, when she realized that despite the demand there really were not any affordable stylish blankets and burp clothes on the market. Christy decide that if she could not buy what she wanted for a reasonable price she would just make them herself and E & LuLu was born. The business name E & LuLu is derived from her children’s names E after her son Ethan, and LuLu for her daughter Lucy, the sources of her inspiration.
